Back In Wilderness - Tanzania was directed by Dr Louis Lam, MD, a medical physician with a degree in anthropology. The film is a 30 minute documentary with a focus on medical anthropology with an emphasis on health, diet, and culture in different societies. It brings us back to a natural way of keeping ourselves healthy, as modern societies have drifted us apart from it. The first episode bring the audience to the north western wilderness and the Maasai tribes of Tanzania followed by a journey through Zanzibar and the mysterious island of witch doctors off the coast of Eastern Africa.
